Kitchens for Architects and Interior Designers
You have already resolved the layout. What you need from a kitchen supplier is straight answers on what is actually available, in what sizes and finishes, at what cost — and a price against your drawing rather than against a showroom's idea of it. That is the way Brooklands works with designers.
Specifying against a real catalogue
Design intent survives contact with a budget more often when the products behind it are real, in stock ranges and priced transparently. Everything below is available to specify and to quote:
Door styles
Shaker, slab and handleless ranges. Browse shaker, slab and handleless.
Colours and finishes
A broad palette across the ranges — tell us the scheme and we will tell you what is achievable within it.
Cabinet sizes
Base, drawerline, wall, corner, larder, appliance housing, bridging and boiler units. See cabinets & carcasses.
Worktops
Kronodesign and Duropal laminate, postformed and square-edged, with matching upstands and splashbacks.
Panels, plinths and accessories
End panels, cornice, pelmet, plinth, handles and internal storage to finish the specification properly.
Appliances, sinks and taps
Integrated and freestanding appliances, plus sinks and taps.
Quotations priced from your drawing
Send the drawing, elevation, schedule or specification you have already produced. We price against it rather than redrawing it — line by line, so the quotation maps onto your document and the client can follow both side by side.
- Plans and elevations. A PDF export of your layout is ideal; a marked-up sketch works too.
- Unit schedules. If you already schedule cabinets by code and size, send that and we will match it to our ranges.
- Written specifications. Door style, colour, worktop décor, edge profile and appliance list is enough to price.
- Comparative quotes. Send a quotation from another supplier and we will price like for like against it.
Supporting client projects
Most designer enquiries fall into one of two shapes, and both are normal here:
- Residential. A single private client, one kitchen, a considered specification. We quote it, you present it, and the client can order directly or through you.
- Development work. A specification you have written that will be repeated across plots or apartments. See multi-unit kitchen projects.
- Value engineering. When the number comes back high, we can show you where it sits and which substitutions move it most.
- Availability checks. Ask before you specify. It is far cheaper than discovering a décor is unavailable after the client has signed off the scheme.
How it works
- Send the specificationDrawings, schedules or a written spec — whatever form your practice works in.
- We check it against the rangesSizes, finishes, worktop profiles and appliance choices, flagging anything that will not work.
- You get an itemised quotationPriced line by line so it can be read alongside your own schedule.
- Revise as the design settlesSend the updated drawing and we re-issue — there is no charge for re-pricing.
