Trade Kitchen FAQs
Trade FAQs
Straight answers to the questions trade buyers ask us most — about pricing, quotations, products, assembly, delivery and how to work with Brooklands on a property project.
Pricing and accounts
What trade discount do you offer?
Brooklands does not publish a fixed blanket trade discount. Trade and project pricing is assessed individually according to the products, quantities and requirements of each project, and is confirmed in writing in your quotation. We would rather give you a real number for your project than a percentage that turns out not to apply.
Do I need a trade account to buy?
No. Anyone can order from the website, and anyone can request a project quotation. Trade membership is worth applying for if kitchens are a regular part of your business and you want your specification kept on file for repeat quotes.
Do you offer credit accounts or payment terms?
Trade membership does not create a credit account or fixed payment terms. Payment terms are confirmed for each project as part of your quotation.
Does applying for trade membership guarantee approval?
No. Applications are reviewed individually and we come back to you either way.
Can I spread the cost?
PayPal Pay in 3 is available at checkout on eligible orders — see spread the cost. For project quotations, payment arrangements are confirmed with the quotation.
Quotations and plans
How do I get a quotation?
Use the trade project form. Send a drawing, a unit schedule, room measurements or another supplier's quotation — whatever you already have. We aim to reply within one working day.
Will you quote from another supplier's quotation?
Yes. Send it over and we will price like for like against it, so the comparison actually means something rather than comparing different specifications.
What file types can I upload?
The upload form on the project page accepts PDF, JPG and PNG. If you have a DWG, DXF or a spreadsheet unit schedule, email it to sales@brooklandskitchens.co.uk with your company name in the subject line.
Is there a charge for a quotation or for planning help?
No. Quotations and our kitchen planning service are free and carry no obligation. See free kitchen planning.
What if my plan will not work?
We tell you before it is ordered rather than after it is delivered — whether that is a unit width that does not exist, a worktop run that cannot be cut from standard lengths, or a housing that will not take the appliance specified.
Products
What can Brooklands supply?
Complete kitchens and kitchen bundles, cabinets and carcasses, doors, panels, plinths, worktops, upstands, splashbacks, appliances, sinks and taps, handles and storage and waste systems.
Will you sell me a single unit or a single door?
Yes. Single items are a normal order and there is no minimum.
What worktops do you supply?
Kronodesign and Duropal laminate worktops in postformed and square-edged profiles, with matching upstands and splashbacks. Exact lengths, depths and thicknesses vary by décor and are listed on each product page. See trade worktops.
Do you cut or fabricate worktops?
No. Worktops are supplied as pre-finished lengths. Cutting, jointing, cut-outs, edging, templating and installation are carried out on site by your fitter.
Can you match my existing kitchen?
Send photographs and measurements of what is already installed and we will tell you honestly whether we can match it. Matching colours and door profiles across different manufacturers is not always possible.
Do you provide CAD blocks, BIM objects or specification packs?
No. We can confirm cabinet sizes and product dimensions so you can draw them accurately in your own environment.
Assembly and installation
Are cabinets rigid or flat-packed?
Cabinets can be supplied fully rigid — built and glued before they leave us — or flat-packed. Tell us which you need when you order or enquire.
Is rigid assembly free?
Eligible complete kitchen bundle deals include a free rigid assembly upgrade during promotional periods. Outside those, rigid assembly is quoted with the order. Check the bundle deals collection for what is currently included.
Do you install kitchens?
No. Brooklands supplies the kitchen. Installation is carried out by your own fitters or contractors. Rigid assembly covers building the cabinets before delivery only.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
Across mainland UK on a fully tracked service. Larger kitchen and worktop deliveries go on a dedicated service and we contact you to arrange a suitable day. Full detail is on our delivery information page.
Are there postcodes you cannot deliver to?
The Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, offshore and certain remote postcodes may be excluded or surcharged. We always confirm before your order is processed — tell us the delivery postcode when you enquire.
Can you deliver to site rather than to my address?
Yes — to site, to your customer or to your own yard. Tell us which when you order.
Can deliveries be phased across a development?
Yes. Tell us the build programme and we will release deliveries against it rather than sending the whole scheme at once. Delivery timing is confirmed when each order or quotation is finalised.
How much is delivery?
Delivery charges depend on what is being sent and where. Worktop delivery is charged separately from standard parcel delivery, and promotional free-delivery offers run from time to time. Current rates and offers are on the delivery information page and are confirmed on your quotation.
Projects and volume
Is there a minimum project size?
No. We quote for a single replacement unit as readily as for a multi-plot development.
Can you hold a specification across a phased development?
Once a specification is agreed we can quote and supply it again for later phases. Availability of specific ranges, colours and worktop décors is confirmed at the point each order is placed rather than guaranteed indefinitely — so tell us the full programme up front.
Can you price several properties as one enquiry?
Yes, and it is the better way to do it. Send them together and we will price them as a programme.
Do you have development case studies or client references?
We do not publish development case studies or client lists. We would rather quote your scheme in detail and let the specification and the numbers speak for themselves.
After ordering
What should I do when the delivery arrives?
Check it on arrival. Report any damage or shortage within 48 hours to sales@brooklandskitchens.co.uk or 07951 989439 so we can put it right quickly.
What is your returns policy?
See our refund policy for the current terms.
Who do I contact about a live project?
Question not answered here?
Send us the project and ask. We aim to reply within one working day, and we would rather tell you what we cannot do than let you find out later.
